The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, January 2, 1947 Claude Lacy Powell Claude Lacy Powell, 73, died Friday on his way to a neighbor's home. Mr. Powell lived in the Maury City section and was a farmer. He was a native of Crockett County and had lived in the same house for the past 60 years. He was a Baptist and a highly respected citizen. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Powell. Two brothers, D. H. Powell and A. L. Powell, survive. Funeral services were held Saturday at Providence by Rev. J. P. Palmer of Alamo. Burial in Nunn cemetery. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. |
