The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, April 17, 1947 Harold Edwin Porter Services for Harold Edwin Porter, 35, who died Wednesday of last week at his home near Halls, were held at Archer's Chapel with R. E. Black officiating. Mr. Porter had been ill of tuberculosis for sometime. He was a highly respected citizen. A sister, Mrs. Katie Phillips of Memphis, survive. Mr. Porter was a member of the Church of Christ. Burial in Archer's Chapel cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. |
