The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, September 30, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 31 Dr. J. H. Pittman--Dr. J. H. Pittman, 75, passed away at his home in West Palm Beach, Fla. recently. Dr. Pittman was a son of the late Aren Pittman, who was a merchant in Bells when Dr. Pittman, the first white child was born there. The information about Dr. Pittman's death was received in a letter from S. P. Pittman of Nashville, a brother, who has been reading the Crockett County Sentinel for about 60 years. |
