CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 28 THURSDAY NOVEMBER 3, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE DEATH--Services were held at Providence for William PHILLIPS, who died at his home in Maury City early Sunday, burial at Providence Cemetery. He was 64, and born in Crockett County. He leaves his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Louise YARBOROUGH, Mrs. Ada SMITH and Wanda Corneala PHILLIPS; three sons, James Elbert PHILLIPS, Ernest PHILLIPS and Joseph Leon PHILLIPS, all of Maury City; and one half-sister, Mrs. Adie HUGHES, of Memphis.
