Crockett Times November 5th, 1953 Issue Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 3 at Tigrett Methodist Church for Mr. James Henry Perry, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Almer Burnett Saturday night. Rev. H. L. Barlett of Friendship, Rev. Brown Turner of Trenton officiated. Burial was in Williams Cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Perry was 85 and a retired farmer of the Elizabeth community. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Jim Williams of Stokes, Mrs. Roy Quinley of Fowlkes, Mrs. Almer Burnett of Friendship. 5 sons Bill Perry of Halls, Tom Perry of St. Louis, MO., Russell Perry of Wayne, Michigan, Bernard Perry of Dyersburg, Tn, Wilson Perry of Milan, one half brother, R. J. Perry of Friendship and 35 grandchildren. |
