MATTIE WOODS OLIVER Funeral services were held at the Maury City Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 2 for Mrs. Mattie Woods Oliver who died Friday at her home in Maury City. Rev. L. A. Smithmier of Maury City officiated. Burial was in Babbs Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Oliver was born in Gibson County April 30, 1867 and had lived in Maury City for the past 6 years. She was a Methodist. She leaves five sons, Lonnie, Odell, Zee and Elmer Oliver of Maury City and Johnnie Oliver of Alamo; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Freeman of Alamo and two brothers, John Woods of Doniphan, Mo., and Frank Woods of Milan. |
