The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, January 23, 1947 Charles Henry Nelson Charles Henry Nelson, 78, died Saturday at Maury City of a heart attack. Mr. Nelson resided on Alamo, Route 1, and was a retired farmer. He was a native of South Carolina. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a highly respected citizen. Mr. Nelson is survived by five children, Mrs. Plomer Williams and Mrs. Leon Williams of Gadsden; Mrs. Mary Gordon and Mrs. John Adams, Alamo; Mr. Homer Nelson of Bells. Funeral services were held at Providence in Madison County Sunday by Rev. Ferris of Brownsville and burial was in Providence Cemetery. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. |
