The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, May 2, 1946 Claude H. Moore, 55, Died Wednesday Claude H. Moore, well known farmer of the Edison community northwest of here, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Humboldt, early Wednesday morning following an illness of a few weeks. He was 55. Mr. Moore was born and reared in Gibson County, son of the late W. C. Moore and Mrs. Ida Moore, who survives. He was a member of the Methodist Church and had lived in the same community for many years where he was active in community affairs. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Sarah K. Moore, and a daughter, Miss Laura Nell Moore, both of Humboldt; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Wallace of Jackson, Tenn., Miss Vera Moore of Gibson, Tenn.; three brothers, Horace Moore of Gibson, Fred Moore of Humboldt, and S. T. Moore of Milan, Tenn., and his mother, Mrs. Moore, of Gibson. Mr. Moore was a nephew of the late W. A. Moore of Crockett Mills and has a number of relatives in this county, where his father lived many years ago. |
