Crockett County Sentinel Alamo, Tennessee Friday, Nov. 14, 1873 Died, at his residence in this county, November 1st, after a lingering illness, Mr. Henry S. Moody, in the fiftieth year of his age. Deceased had long been a consistent member of the Methodist Church, and died in a full assurance of a blissful immortality. In his death society has been bereft one of its most valuable members, the widow and orphan of an ever sympathizing friend; but most heavily does the blow fall on his afflicted widow and nine bereaved orphans. May the God of all consolation be their refuge in this sore dispensation. |
