Services for Mrs. Hassie Jane McCanless, 94, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship United Methodist church with Rev. Joe Walker and Rev. Bob Prince officiating. Burial in Bellevernon cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. McCanless died Thursday at her home on Rt. 2 Friendship. She was the wife of Eddie McCanless who preceded her in death in 1967. She was a member of Tigrett Methodist church. She leaves one son, E. T. McCanless; one daughter, Mrs. Dola Freeman, both of Friendship Rt. 2; 10 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. [Obituary dated: 30 Oct 1975 - paper unknown.] |
