The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 8, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 2 JOEL F. MANSFIELD Joel F. Mansfield, 78, a leading farmer of the Lebanon Church community, died Friday at 3 a.m. at Prather Clinic in Alamo. Mr. Mansfield had been in ill health for the past two years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World and was one of the community's most highly respected citizens. Services were held Sunday at 11 a.m. at Lebanon Church, the Rev. W. M. Vaughn officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillie May White Mansfield; one son, Robert Finis Mansfield of St. Louis, Mo.; and one daughter, Mrs. Ophelia Riddick of Memphis and seven grandchildren. |
