CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 3 THURSDAY JULY 7, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE DEATH--Mrs. Lavuran LOVE, wife of A. W. LOVE, died at her residence in Dyersburg Friday. She was 45 years old, had been in ill health for 15 years, confined to her bed for the past two years. She had lived in Dyersburg since 1925, when the family moved here from Friendship. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Miss Catherine LOVE and Mrs. Bob GRIFFIN, of Dyersburg; her mother, Mrs. Kate TOWNSEND, of Dyersburg; five brothers, William TOWNSEND, of Memphis, Mark TOWNSEND, of RoEllen, Dawson TOWNSEND, of Dyersburg, (only three brothers named); four sisters, Mrs. Lola BASS of Friendship, Mrs. Mark COBURN, of Tigrett, Mrs. Louis HUNGERFORD, of Memphis and Mrs. Gene REED, of Dyersburg and two grandchildren. Services in First Baptist Church, burial in Fairview Cemetery. The obit spells her first name Lavuran, but her tombstone spells it Lavivian Lavivian Townsend married Alva W.
