The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, December 23, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 43 Sam Lewis--Sam Lewis, former well-known businessman of Alamo, died Dec. 18, at his home in Sheffield, Ala. He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline Speight of Cross Roads community, and a son, Samuel Paul Lewis. Mr. Lewis was associated with his cousin, Arthur Yearwood, in the grocery business in Alamo a number of years ago. |
