The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 29, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 5 JENNIE LEE LEWIS Funeral services where held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Alamo First Christian Church for Miss Jennie Lee Lewis, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Pearl Oldham in Alamo Monday night. Rev. William Huie of Humboldt officiated. Burial was in Alamo Cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge. Miss Lewis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Q. T. Lewis pioneer citizens of Crockett County, had been in ill health for several years. Her patient suffering and kind disposition had endeared her to all who knew her. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Alamo. She leaves her sister, Mrs. Oldham and one brother, Roy Lewis of Alamo. |
