From "The Jackson Sun," Jackson, Tennessee, 20 Dec 2000. Charles Leggett, 85 BELLS -- Services for Charles Merlin Leggett, 85, will be at 11 a.m. today at Cypress United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Gadsden Cemetery. Mr. Leggett, a bank cashier, died Monday at West Tennessee Skilled Nursing Center in Jackson of heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Lonnie Maie Leggett of Bells; two daughters and a son, Judy Horton and Charles Leggett, both of Gadsden, and Janice Judd of Humboldt; and two sisters, Madlyn Richards of Mobile, Ark., and Bennie Faye Leggett of Fruitvale.
