Mildred Klyce Obituary

TRIBUTE OF RESPECT

The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Klyce of near Cairo, on May 5, 1913 and took away their little daughter Mildred. She was a sweet girl and loved by all who knew her. She suffered several months with that dreaded disease tuberculosis before the Lord called her home. Little Mildred will be missed, but there is one sure thing, she has gone to rest. She will never have to bear the trials and cares of this life for the Kingdom of Heaven is made of such as little Mildred for Christ said: Of such is the kingdom of Heaven. Matt. 18:13. May the father and mother of this child live so as to meet her in the home of God. Her body laid to rest in the Cairo Grave Yard. It is sad to part from our loved ones, but let us weep not as those who have no hope.

A little flower of love,
That blossomed but to die;
Transplanted now above,
To blossom with God on high.
Mildred gone, but not forgotten,
Leaving memories higher still;
Though it was so sad the parting,
Yet we knew if was His will,
Then the last drive, oh, so lonely!
And that last sad goodbye!
Where shes gone to live with Jesus,
In the house beyond the skies.
Care who loved her.
