The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, January 1, 1948 Vol. 15 No. 44 Services for Hill King, retired farmer, who died at his home on Thursday, December 18th, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the Baptist Church in Friendship. Rev J. T. Barker and Rev. T. E. Williams, officiating. Burial was in Belle Vernon Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge. Mr. King was 70 years of age and had been in ill health for five years. He was born in Crockett County and was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vannie Warren King; two sons, Lloyd King of Martin and Warren King of Friendship; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Beaver of Stokes and Mrs. George Ballentine of Friendship and one brother, Joe King of Friendship. |
