The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, April 25, 1946 Mrs. Laura Catherine Kenner Mrs. Laura Catherine Kenner, 86, died Friday night from injuries received in a fall several days ago. Mrs. Kenner was the widow of the late D. H. Kenner and member of a pioneer family of the county. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and held in the highest esteem by all who knew her. She leaves three sons, Neal of Alamo, Ott of Memphis; Hurb Kenner and E. T. Kenner of Humboldt; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Lewis of Alamo, Mrs. Jessie Pearson of Memphis and Mrs. Minnie Mitchell, Humboldt. Also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Salem by the Rev. G. C. McIlwaine of Dyer. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Laura Mobley & Daniel H. Kenner were married 9 Mar 1876 in Crockett Co. |
