The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, May 6, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 10 William Alvin Kee--Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kee have been notified by the War Department that the remains of their son, William Alvin Kee, are enroute to the States.

The Crockett Times Pvt. William A. Kee--Services for Pvt. William A. Kee, killed in action Nov. 12, 1944, in France were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ at Friendship. Ross Spears, Church of Christ minister of Dyersburg and the Rev. W. A. West, Baptist minister of Medina officiated. Burial was in Sudbury Cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. Private Kee was 19 and a member of the Church of Christ. He attended Dyersburg High School before entering the service on March 22, 1944. He landed in France Oct 20, 1944 with the 198th Infantry. He was overseas only 22 days before his death. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kee of Friendship and a sister, Mrs. V. A. Diffee of Memphis.
