John Lee Kee Killed in Auto Wreck

John Lee Kee, 30 year old farmer of the Mason Grove community, was killed Friday night when the car in which he was a passenger struck a bridge near the intersection of the Sanders Bluff road and Highway 45W, near Humboldt. Carl H. Kee, his brother, who was driving the car said that an approaching car from the north blinded him in the rainy mist and he did not see or know there was a bridge near where they met.

Services for Mr. Kee were held Saturday afternoon at Salem Presbyterian Church, the Rev. J. H. Smith officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery.

He leaves his brother; a wife, Mrs. Sarah Wall Kee of Humboldt; three children, Barabara Joan [as spelled], Hilda Fay and Brenda Sue, all of Humboldt, and his mother, Mrs. Elnora Kee of Humboldt.
