The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, March 21, 1946 Claborn Jones Claborn Jones, farmer of the Chestnut Bluff community, died Friday morning at his home following a brief illness. He was 64. Born in Crockett County, Mr. Jones had been a resident of near Halls all his life. He was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Katie Howard Jones; five sons, Oscar, D. W., and Eugene Jones, all of Halls, Ivie Jones of Toledo, Ohio, and Cecil Jones, with the Army in Virginia; and three brothers, Will Jones of Toledo, Marron Jones of Halls and Olia Jones of Alamo, Tenn. Sudbury Funeral Home of Halls in charge. |
