Mrs. Lela Jenkins

Mrs. Lela E. Jenkins, 67, died Friday at 4 p.m. at the home of her nephew, Jamie Boswell, near Johnson Grove. She had been ill three weeks. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Baptist Church. She lived at Friendship for a number of years and had many friends there and throughout the county.

She leaves one brother, Bayless Boswell.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. J. T. Barker officiating.

Burial in Bellview Cemetery at Bells.
