DEATH--Services were held Sunday at 3 p. m. at the Center Methodist Church for James Carrol JACKSON, prominent citizen of Gadsden, who died Wednesday, burial in Center Cemetery. He was 87, a Presbyterian, was engaged in farming near Gadsden and spent his life in this county. He leaves four sons, James Mose JACKSON, of Mo., John JACKSON, of Alamo, Carrol C. JACKSON and Allen JACKSON, both of Gadsden; one daughter, Mrs. Lorine NORVILLE, of Gadsden; and 23 grandchildren.
