W. I. Hunt

Mr. W. I. Hunt, 77, of the Seventh District, died Saturday evening at 6 o'clock. He had been ill only a few days.

Mr. Hunt was one of the leading citizens of his community and for a number of years was a member of the County Court from his district. He had served as a member of the Poor House Commission, the Board of Equalization and other county committees.

He was a member of Nance Church of Christ and always active in the word of the church. He had many friends and many looked to him for advice and help in time of need.

Two daughters, Mrs. J. L. Nichols and Mrs. Marvin Vernon of the Nance community; two brothers, Watt Hunt of near Alamo and Renshaw Hunt of Cottonwood Point, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Bedonia? Gullett of Jackson, Miss. And Mrs. Robert May of Memphis, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive him.

Services were held at Nance Church of Christ Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Elder K. M. Kelley of Henderson. Burial was at Old Field.

Sudbury Funeral Home in charge.

We take this method of thanking all our friends and neighbors for their many acts of kindness during the illness and death of our dear father and grandfather, Will Hunt. We especially wish to express our thanks to Dr. McDonald for his patient and untiring efforts. We are deeply grateful for the beautiful floral offerings and all other tokens of love.
