The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, November 21, 1946 Mrs. M. J. Howell Services for Mrs. M. J. Howell, who died at 7:15 Saturday night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Will Grant of Bells, were held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg by the Rev. Stedman Bagby and the Rev. J. P. Irion. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Howell, sister of former Senator W. W. Craig of Ripley, Tenn., was born in Friendship, Tenn., and spent most of her life there. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Dyersburg. Mrs. Howell leaves another sister, Mrs. Carro Summers of Bells. Lounettie Craig Howell was born Aug 30 1867, died Nov 16 1946. She married 4 Sep 1888 in Crockett Co. to M. J. Howell |
