The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, May 6, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 10 Mrs. Betty Holcomb--Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Betty Holcomb, age 93, who died at the home of her son, Herman L. Hendrix of Ripley, Friday night, at Nut Bush Church. The Rev. L. M. Napper officiated. She was a Methodist and a resident of Lauderdale and Haywood County. She is survived by four sons, John Holcomb, J. F. Holcomb, Pate Holcomb and Herman Hendrix and one daughter, Jinnie Lee Holcomb, all of Ripley. Burial was in Trinity Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge. |
