The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, December 12, 1946 Sam Hodge Services for Sam Hodge, retired Crockett County farmer who died at Memorial Hospital in Jackson Saturday morning after an illness of ten days, were held at Lanier Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial was in Kail Cemetery near Alamo. He was 67. In failing health for several years he had made his home in Jackson for 20 years. He married Miss Maggie Tyler of Crockett County in 1902. He was a Methodist. He leaves his wife, three sons, J. W., Bill and Raymond Hodge, all of Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Hughie Ragan of Jackson and Mrs. James Ratliffe of Wickliffe, Ky., and a brother, Edgar Hodge of Gadsden. |
