THE CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL BELLS, TENNESSEE THURSDAY MAY 4, 1950 DEATH... J. H. HITER, 70, died Friday at Memorial Hospital, Jackson. Services Sunday at Hays Avenue Methodist Church, burial in Pond Creek Cemetery. Born and reared in Crockett County, he had lived in Jackson for the past three years. He leaves his wife, Mrs. IRENE VAN DYKE HITER; three daughters, Mrs. T. R. O'BANYEL of Memphis, Mrs. L. E. PEVAHOUSE of Parsons, and Mrs. C. V. COLLINS of Jacksonville, Fla. ; a brother, Everett HITER of Bells; three sisters, Mrs. H. C. JONES and Miss PEARL HITER, both of Memphis and Mrs. BETTY CASEY of Texas. |
