The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, August 1, 1946 Grady Hill Grady Richard Hill, 27, truck driver of Cooter, Mo., was shot Saturday night in a scuffle with the City Marshal in that town and died Friday in a Blytheville hospital. Hill is survived by his wife; one son, Grady; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth, Dorothy Nell and Shirley Anne Hill; his father, D. Hill of Bells; four brothers, W. C. and E. J. Hill of Bells and B. C. and R. D. Hill of Cooter, and three sisters, Flossie Bee Hill, Mrs. Glossie Lee Graves and Mrs. Nina Cowen, all of Alamo. Mr. Hill moved from this county to Cooter about a year ago. He was reared in the Crockett Mills neighborhood. Funeral services were held at Quincy Pentacostal Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 by Rev. Sam Graves. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. |
