The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, April 1, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 5 Tom Hicks, carpenter and blacksmith, died of a heart attack at his home in the Frog Jump community near Halls on March 18. Funeral services were held at Archer's Chapel Methodist church by the Rev. W. T. M. Jones, Methodist minister of Gates. He was 74 years old and leaves one brother, Buford Hicks of Halls. |
