The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, September 12, 1946 R. L. Henderson Services for Robert L. Henderson, Sr., 69, who was found dead in bed Monday morning at his home in Bells, were held at the home at 10:30 Wednesday, with Goosmann Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Henderson, well known farmer, had apparently been in the best of health for a man of his age, when he retired Sunday night. He was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and leaves his wife; three sons, R. L., Jr., of Baltimore, Md., Tolbert of Jackson, and Hiram of Bells; one daughter, Mrs. Clifton Johnson of Jackson; one brother, Arthur Henderson of Milan, and one sister, Mrs. Mosella Bickerstaff of Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Henderson was one of the community's most highly respected citizens and was formerly engaged in business in Bells. |
