MRS. J. F. HAWKINS; FRIENDSHIP, TENN. SEPTEMBER 28 ... Mrs. Crickett Levira HAWKINS, Crockett County farmer and landowner, died at her home near here Friday afternoon. She was 60. Services at Sudbury Funeral Home, burial in Sudbury Cemetery here. Mrs. HAWKINS was born in Dyer County and moved to Crockett County 43 years ago after her marriage to Mr. HAWKINS. She leaves her husband; sons, Roy HAWKINS, Memphis, Lowell HAWKINS, Friendship, Hollis HAWKINS, Friendship, and Lt. Victor HAWKINS, Everett, Washington; a sister, Mrs. Julia HAWKINS, Halls, Tenn.

Mrs. J. F. Hawkins

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. W. C. Skinner, Rev. R. J. Williams, Rev. T. E. Williams and Rev. J. B. Hill at the Baptist Church in Friendship for Mrs. J. F. Hawkins who died at her home late Friday afternoon. Mrs. Hawkins was 60 years of age and had been in ill health for some time, though not confined to her bed until Sunday preceeding her death, when she was taken with a stroke.

Mrs. Hawkins was born in Dyer County and moved to Crockett County 43 years ago after her marriage to Mr. Hawkins. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a very active member of the church and Home Demonstration Club. She was loved by all who knew her.

Burial was in Friendship Cemetery with Sudbury Undertakers in charge.

She leaves her husband, four sons, Roy Hawkins of Memphis, Lowell and Hollis Hawkins of Friendship and Lt. (j.g.) Victor Hawkins of Everett, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Julia Hawkins, Halls.
