Jesse M. Harris Obituary

DEATH... Services for JESSE M. HARRIS, landowner of Friendship, who died at his home Saturday, were held Monday in the Friendship Baptist Church, burial in the Sorrell's Chapel community. He was 77. Born and reared in the Sorrell's Chapel Community, he lived in Steele, Mo. for a number of years before establishing his home in Friendship. He leaves his wife, Mrs. NANCY E. HARRIS;three sons, Joe HARRIS of Dyersburg, TOM HARRIS of Washington, D. C., and W. H. HARRIS of Washington, D. C.; three brothers, LEE LIPSCOMB of Dyersburg, CARL LIPSCOMB of Memphis and JOHN LIPSCOMB of Memphis; and a sister, Mrs. JIMMIE HARBOR of Friendship.
