The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, November 6, 1947 Mrs. Laura Harrell Funeral services were held at 2 Monday at the Baptist Church in Maury City for Mrs. Laura L. Harrell who died of a heart attack at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pauline Austin of Maury City, Sunday night at 8 p.m. The Rev. J. T. Barker and Rev. J. W. Lorance officiated. Burial in Smith Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Born in Crockett County, Mrs. Harrell was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She was 87. She leaves her daughter, Mrs. Austin of Maury City and one son, Mr. Lonnie Harrell of Alamo; six grand children and ten great grand children. Laura L. Smith was the daughter of Samuel W. Smith & Deborah Warren. She married 3 Mar 1887 to James T. Harrell, the son of Baker Harrell & Rebecca White |
