DEATH... Services were held on Tuesday at the Bethesda Methodist Church near Friendship for NEWT H. HARBER, burial in church cemetery. He was 78. He was a retired farmer and landowner. He moved to Crockett Mills from Kansas at the age of 18. He leaves his wife, Mrs. CATHERINE FULLER HARBER of Alamo; three sons, GORDON HARBER of Trenton, HAMLET HARBER of Newbern, and CONNIE HARBER of Memphis; three daughters, Mrs. MARVIN MANSFIELD and Mrs. BEECHER SKELTON of Alamo and Mrs. HOMER CROSSNOE of Bells; one brother, GEORGE HARBER of Toronto, Kansas.
