The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, March 6, 1947 Joseph T. Hamilton Services for Joseph T. Hamilton, Halls farmer, who died Sunday morning at St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis were held at 2:00 Monday at Halls Baptist Church. The Rev. Vernon Sico and the Rev. William Beard officiated. Burial in Halls Cemetery under direction of Garner Funeral Home of Ripley. Mr. Hamilton was 58. He was born in Crockett County and spent most of his life in Lauderdale County. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jemima Hamilton; two sons, Joseph F. and Billy Hamilton; a daughter, Miss Martha Ann Hamilton, all of Halls; three brothers, Oscar H. Hamilton of Dyersburg, Dan Hamilton of Halls and Julian Hamilton of Winter Haven, Florida. |
