The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, February 27, 1947 Sam Haines Sam Haines, farmer of the Salem community, was found dead near his home Tuesday. He was about forty years of age. Mr. Haines died of exposure. He had been missing a couple of days. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. John Presley at the Quincy Penecostal Church at 2:00 o'clock, Thursday, Feb. 27. Mr. Haines was a member of the Church of Christ in Gadsden. He was born in Benton County. He died at the age of 41. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lella Haines, wife, Mrs. Maida Haines and two children, Juanita and Billy Haines. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. |
