Mrs. Maude Ivy Barcroft Gunter Obituary

Mrs. Maude Ivy Barcroft GUNTER, 82, of Memphis, died last Friday in St. Joseph Hospital, Memphis. Services were Sunday in Halls Funeral Home, burial in Rucker Cemetery near Maury City. A native of Crockett County, she was the widow of Chester GUNTER, who was killed in a service station hold-up in Memphis in 1927. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mary DANCY, of Memphis, with whom she resided; her neices, Mrs. Fred FITZHUGH and Mrs. A. B. TURNAGE, both of Halls, and Mrs. Cora LITTLES, of Maury City.
