CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL BELLS, TENNESSEE THURSDAY AUGUST 3, 1950 Services were held Saturday at the Church of Christ at Cross Roads for MRS. JOHN GRIFFIN, who died Thursday, burial in Bellview Cemetery. She was 73. She leaves three children and six step-children: BARNEY and LILLIE of Bells, DALLAS, ERVIN and ROBERT of Memphis, Mrs. LEE O. DAVIS, and Mrs. A. F. MASSEY of Alamo, Mrs. SAM DANIEL and Mrs. JIM SKIPPER of Bells; two sisters, Mrs. FRANK RANDOLPH of Alamo and Mrs. LAURA FORTUNE of Calif. ; and several grandchildren. Margaret Elizabeth "Maggie" Kail, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Kail & Elva Jane McFarland, married 28 Apr 1912 in Crockett Co. to John Calvin Griffin. |
