The Crockett Times, Alamo, and/or Crockett County Sentinel, Bells 13 Jun 1974 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Goode, 63, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Alamo Church of Christ with Howard Parker of Collierville, Tenn. officiating. Burial in Bells Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Goode died late Sunday afternoon at her home on Rt. 1, Alamo after a long illness. She was the wife of Garner Goode, and was born in Crockett County daughter of Mrs. Oma Baker of Bells and the late Fanning Baker. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ. Besides her husband and mother she leaves one son, Mack Goode of Alamo; three sisters, Mrs. Gretchen Coleman of Humboldt, Mrs. Elizabeth Hendricks and Mrs. Jenny Greswald both of Peoria, Ill.; two brothers, Ben Baker and Orris Baker both of Bells; one grandson and one granddaughter. Pallbearers were Coy Branch, Horace Colvett, Notre Brown, Lynn Colvett, Frank Phillips and Barney Randolph. |
