The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, November 30, 1939 J. W. Gilliland J. W. Gilliland, aged 60, died Friday night at his home west of Maury City. He was a well known farmer and is survived by his wife and a son, Threode (as spelled), of this county, and a daughter, Mrs. Asa Vaughn, of Halls. Funeral services were held at Lebanon church Sunday at 3 o'clock. John W. Gilliland was married 7 Sep 1902 in Crockett Co. to Cora Lee Goodwin, the daughter of Allen Goodwin & Martha Lovelace |
