P. J. Fortune Obituary

Death of Mr. P. J. Fortune--Death came suddenly to Mr. P. J. Fortune of Monette, Ark., early Wednesday morning, Sept. 29. Mr. Fortune had not been in good health for sometime, but his death came as a shock to his family. He was 70 years of age. His funeral was held Thursday at First Baptist Church in Monette with burial in Monette Cemetery. Leachville Funeral Home was in charge. He leaves his wife and eight children. They are as follows: Mr. Will Eason Fortune, Bells; Mrs. Nina St. Pierre, Mr. Sherman Fortune, Miss Beatrice Fortune of California; Mrs. Jimmy Patterson, Kansas; Mrs. Virginia Hunt, Pennsylvania; Mr. J. C. Fortune, Mrs. Lou Ella McKinnon, Memphis and several grandchildren.
