The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 25, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 4 Services for Charlie Sylvester Flack, 78, were held Sunday at the Baptist Church in Newbern. Mr. Flack was a farmer living near Newbern and died at his home there. Rev. J. T. Barker conducted funeral services. Burial was in Fairview cemetery. Mr. Flack leaves his wife Mrs. Ruby Greer Flack, formerly of Friendship; four daughters, Mrs. C. W. Baldridge of Obion, Mrs. Bernie Meadows of Newbern, Mrs. Claude McTosh of Kenton and Mrs. W. C. Sowers of Akron, Ohio; a son, Finis Flack, also eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The children were by a former marriage. |
