Bernard A. Evans Obituary

DEATH--Bernard A. EVANS passed away in Memphis Saturday afternoon and in his passing Bells and the surrounding community were shocked and made sad. He had not been well for several years but had seemed better for the last few weeks and was able to attend the fair in Memphis where he was stricken and died a few minutes later at the Baptist Hospital. The services were held at his home at Bells Sunday at 4 p. m., burial in the family lot in Bellview Cemetery. He was 48 years old. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. J. W. EVANS; daughter, Nancy Ann EVANS; his wife, Mrs. B. A. EVANS; all of Bells; and a brother, Dr. J. W. EVANS of Huntsville. Ala.
