The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 13, 1946 Charles A. English Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 4:30 at the Cairo Baptist church for Charles A. English of near Alamo. The Rev. C. W. Baldridge officiated. Mr. English was 83, and was born in Illinois. At the time of his death he was in the poultry business. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dallas Burnett Saturday of a heart attack. The body was shipped Sunday to Des Moines, Iowa for burial with Evans & Lasiter in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Kenison English, two daughters, Mrs. Dallas Burnett of near Alamo, and Miss Lillian English of Omaha, Nebr., and one granddaughter, Lillian Burnett Worrell of Alamo. |
