Katie (Stephenson) Edwards (b. April 9, 1897, Crockett Co., Tenn.; d. Oct. 30, 1960, Memphis, Tenn.) Nov. 1, 1960, Memphis Commercial Appeal: Services for Mrs. Katie S. Edwards of 695 Avalon, who died Sunday night at Baptist Hospital after a brief illness, will be held at 10 a.m. today at National Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friendship, Tenn. Mrs. Edwards, who was 63, came to Memphis 16 years ago from Crockett County, Tenn. NOTE: Elsewhere on the page it lists two sisters: Mrs. J.A.
