Services for James Edgar Edwards, who died of a heart attack at his home at Maury Junction early Tuesday morning were held at 2 Wednesday afternoon at the Providence Baptist Church. The Rev. F. L. Leming and Rev. Frank Perry, officiating. Burial in Providence Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Edwards was 66.

He was born in Crockett County and lived in Crockett Mills until a few years ago when he moved to Maury Junction. He had extensive farming interest and took an active part in advancing livestock in this county. He was a Woodman of the World.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Esther Hughes Edwards; five sons, G. W. Edwards of Little Rock Ark., Malcolm, of Fayetteville, Tenn., Lossie, of Jackson, John Ed of Alamo, and Milton of Crockett Mills; six sisters, Mrs. Pearl Nettles, Mrs. Ada Cunningham, Mrs. Ethel Fewell, Mrs. Minnie Fewell all of Crockett Mills and Mrs. Nora Taylor of Friendship and several grand children.

A Correction

In the writeup of the death of J. E. Edwards last week, the name of Mrs. Bun Colvett, a sister, was omitted. We regret that this mistake was made.
