The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 6, 1946 Mrs. Dennis Edwards Mrs. Cordie Vaughn Edwards, 46, wife of Dennis Edwards, died Tuesday morning at her home in Alamo. Mrs. Edwards was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her and her death is the cause of deep bereavement among many friends and relatives. She was a member of the Methodist church and is survived by her husband; one son, James Clyde Edwards; her mother, Mrs. Celia Vaughn of Alamo; four sisters, Mrs. Hessie Miles and Mrs. Charles Bessent of Nashville; Mrs. Hubert Darden and Mrs. Jack Sanders of Alamo, and one half sister, Mrs. Nettie Moody of Memphis. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Wednesday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. J. P. Irion. Burial in Alamo cemetery. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. |
