Died:

At the home of her husband near Dexter City, Stoddard county, Mo., on the 1st day of May, 1873, Mrs. Louisa C. Eason, wife of B. A. Eason, and daughter of Isaac M. Johnson, Esq., of Alamo, Tenn; aged about 48 years.

Her husband, in a letter to her father, says she died happy and said angels were standing waiting to take her to Heaven, where she would rejoice with dear friends who had preceded her to the heavenly land.

Though her death may be regretted by her many friends and relatives, the fact of being prepared for the dread messenger, should give them consolation, dry their tears and admonish them to be also ready. God help them to be so found.
