The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, July 3, 1947 Gus Durden Services for Gus Durden, who died of a heart attack while at work in Nashville for the Mason Dixon Transfer Co., were held in Bruceton at the home of his parents, Friday, June 27. Services were conducted by Rev. James P. Irion, burial in Bells Cemetery. Mr. Durden was born and reared in Bruceton but had lived in Nashville for several years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Bryant Durden, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Durden, one sister and three brothers. |
